For the best result, you wear the aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, including at night. You should only take them out to eat, to drink (anything other than water) and to clean them – if you wear them for significantly less time, your treatment may take longer.
One or two check-up appointments are usually enough, during which we check at our practice that your teeth are moving as planned. Once you've received your aligners, you take them home and change them yourself; if you have any questions, you can also book an extra appointment at any time.
