How long does treatment take?

Depending on severity, between about 14 weeks (SayCheeese easy) and 28 weeks (SayCheeese sensitive). The exact treatment time is determined by your free diagnostics with 3D scan and X-ray.

Can an open bite still be treated in adulthood?

Yes. An open bite often develops in childhood, for example through thumb-sucking, and then persists into adulthood. Our aligners are suitable for adults of any age – whether you're 20 or 60; the only important thing is that any tooth decay or gum problems are treated first.

Can an open bite come back after treatment?

Without aftercare, your teeth can shift again. To keep your result stable, we recommend a retainer after treatment, which you wear according to an individual aftercare plan, as well as one or two follow-up appointments at our practice, where we check that everything is staying in place.
