There are special cases that can only be treated by an orthodontist. These include, for example, cases where the jawbone is asymmetrical or the masticatory system is impaired by malformations, as well as significant misalignments, particularly in the area of the back teeth. An existing retainer, for example from previous braces, has to be removed before treatment with aligners. At the free consultation with 3D scan and X-ray, we'll discuss with you how this works in your case and whether aligners will be right for you afterwards.
Yes, we also correct individual misalignments, such as a crooked tooth, with our invisible aligners. At the free consultation, we use a 3D scan to check whether you're suitable and create a plan that shows what your smile could look like after 4 to 8 months.
Tooth decay and gum problems such as periodontitis must be treated before you start. At the consultation, we check your oral health and, if necessary, recommend that you see your dentist first – once everything is fine, you can start with the aligners.
Our invisible aligners are smooth, have no sharp edges and move your teeth with gentle pressure. You may feel slight pressure, which shows that they're working – we check whether they're right for your teeth at the free consultation with a 3D scan.
